CLUB GRAND PRIX / MARATHON RELAY, SATURDAY JUNE 4
Registration for the 6th Annual Peachtree City Marathon, presented by the Peachtree City Running Club and Tri-PTC, is open!  Teams of four will run a race together completing a marathon.  For more information and to register, visit the event’s page at www.ptcrc.com/marathonrelay.  Please spread the word about the race!  This event is free and will also serve as the PTCRC Grand Prix for the month.
CLUB MEETING, MONDAY, JUNE 6
We meet at 7:30 Pm at the Crowne Plaza Conference Center.  Our guest speakers will be Rich Kenah, President of the Atlanta Track Club and Mary Ford, Chairman of the ATC Board, who will be updating us on the programs and future of the ATC.

SUMMER TRACK CLASSIC SERIES – WEDNESDAYS, JUNE 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 AND JULY 6 & 7

Join us for this traditional favorite – a low-key, all-fun event at Riley Field adjacent to PTC Elementary School.  Registration starts at 6 PM with the first event at 6:30.  As always, we need volunteers each week.  This is a great way to get in your three volunteer requirements for the 1000 Mile Jacket!!

PEACHTREE 10K BUS SIGN UP FOR SATURDAY, JULY 4
Registration for the club’s buses to the Peachtree Road Race is open. We are chartering two buses–a Party Bus and a Family Bus, and these buses will pick you up in Peachtree City at McIntosh High School and drop you off at the start of the race. After the race, the buses will pick you up at the finish line and return you to McIntosh High School. The cost of a bus seat is $10 for club members and $20 for non-club members. To register, you can reserve a bus seat and pay for the seat at http://ptcrc.com/bus/. Please note, your reservation is not confirmed until you receive an email from Kevin Killory listing your seat reservation. In the event that either bus is filled, you can be placed on a wait list, and once a seat opens, you will be given a chance to confirm your seat on the bus.  The party bus is now filled but there are about 30 seats left on the family bus. If you would like to register for the family bus, please go to the link indicated and fill out the form.
ANNUAL FOURTH OF JULY FAMILY PICNIC – SATURDAY, JULY 4
There is no club meeting for July. However, in lieu of the monthly meeting, we will once again have our annual family picnic on July 4th graciously hosted by Dick and Jan Allis (202 Camp Creek Trail, Peachtree City), from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The club will provide BBQ, lemonade, tea, some sodas, and water. Guests are asked to bring either a side dish or dessert. Come celebrate the 4th and swap war stories about the race that morning!

There is a also pool available so bring your swim suits.  Children are certainly welcome but can swim ONLY with parental supervision!!

Track Challenge!!  We start at 8 AM at Riley Field adjacent to the PTC Elementary School.  Participants all start together.  At random times a whistle will be blown and participants must change directions.  At the final whistle, participants must guess total elapsed time how long they ran/walked.  No electronic devices allowed!
