Monthly Meetings

The Peachtree City Running Club holds its monthly meetings on the first Monday of every month with the exception of July and December. Meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. and are currently held at Line Creek Brewery at 150 Huddleston Rd in PTC.  Actual meeting place is usually announced via e-mail and posted on our web site.

PTC Classic

The Peachtree City Classic consists of three different races: Women’s 5K, Men’s 5K  and 15K Open. All races are on certified courses. The course was voted the Best Course by Georgia Athlete Magazine. Plan on 10/16/2021 for next year’s race.  In the meantime, please join us for our Virtual 5K/10K Race this year.  Complete details are under the tab above, PTCRC Virtual Race.

CLUB MEETING – MONDAY, DECEMBER 7 – CANCELED

Due to the resurgence of COVID, we have reluctantly decided to cancel our annual Christmas Awards Banquet this year and the December meeting we were going to hold in lieu of the party.  Superlative Awards will be announced and handed out at the January Grand Prix.  PLEASE VOTE AT THE LINK BELOW!!

CLUB GRAND PRIX – FRIDAY, JANUARY 1

Out of an abundance of caution, it would be unfair and pose too great a risk to ask Lou and Martha Boone to host the annual Grand Prix at their house.  So we will be conducting the Grand Prix at a location to be determined.  Show up anytime between 0800 and 1000 to run/walk a course and guess the distance. No electronic devices allowed. Closest to the actual distance wins!

1000 Mile Club Awards and Jackets will be handed out at this event as well!

Be sure to bring a cold breakfast dish to share at the brunch afterward. The club will furnish coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice, and paper products.  Also, be sure to wear your best smile for the annual New Year’s Day club photo!
