Veteran Tribute 5K/10K Run/Walk (Virtual Edition) – 8-14 NOVEMBER

The COVID-19 pandemic forced American Legion Post 50 to cancel its annual traditional All American Road Race usually held Memorial Day weekend.  Not to be outdone, however, Legion Post 50, with a renewed determination is hosting an uplifting event the week of Veterans Day as a reminder to all citizens of the sacrifices made by our Veteran Family (Veterans past and present as well as Veterans’ families).  Out of an abundance of caution for the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic we are hosting this event in such a way that allows runners and walkers of all ages to participate in their home neighborhood while practicing social distancing thereby mitigating any risks.  You are on your honor.  However, all registrants will receive a collectible T-Shirt to commemorate this special event in what is turning out to be a memorable year.

You are asked to do your 5K/10K run or walk the week of Veterans Day on a 5K/10K course of your choosing.  If you register early enough, we will try to ship you the T-Shirt so that you may wear it while participating in the event.  However, all registrants will receive a T-Shirt.

Information and registration is available at https://ptcrc.com/2020-veteran-tribute-virtual-edition/
