Become a Peachtree City Running Club Member

Club History

Founded in 1981, our club has grown to be one of the largest running clubs in the Metro Atlanta area. With over 100 miles of cart paths in Peachtree City, you are bound to run into someone you know eventually (pun intended!). We have members from all walks of life, ages and abilities.

Monthly Meetings

The Peachtree City Running Club holds its monthly meetings on the first Monday of every month with the exception of July and December. Meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. and are currently held at Line Creek Brewery at 150 Huddleston Rd in PTC.  Actual meeting place is usually announced via e-mail and posted on our web site.

PTC Classic

The Peachtree City Classic consists of two different races: 5K and 15K Open. All races are on certified courses. The course was voted the Best Course by Georgia Athlete Magazine. Plan on 10/19/2024 for the race.

Patti Keeney and Paul Schultz have become RRCA Certified Distance Running Coaches to help PTCRC members meet their running goals! (Our Club Prez, Shelly Collins, earned her RRCA certification a couple of years ago.)

 

As part of light-touch coaching they can meet with members, discuss goals, make plans, and follow-up along the way, all at no cost – you just have to be a club member. Absolute beginners welcome!
