MONTHLY RUN SOCIAL – SATURDAY, JUNE 14
“ Guess Your Mile Time”
Saturday June 14th, 8 AM Riley Field
No Watches or taped so can’t be seen
The best way to train for an event is to know your pace. Several training plans utilize your best mile time to determine training pace for different workouts. By doing a time trial on the track you can obtain an accurate mile time to use for these training plans.
For this MRS we will do the following:
You will sign in and give us your predicted mile time.
We will start with some simple standard kinetic stretches to loosen up.
We will then do a mile warm up; if you feel you need more distance to warm up, please arrive early to get your extra distance in.
Then we will then run mile time trials in groups of 6 based on the time you entered.
Points will be based on how close your actual time is to your predicted time.
Have fun and hope this will be useful for your next goal race!!
