2022 PTCRC HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE TERESA MOORE

Teresa joined the club in 2006 and hit the ground running.  She was soon asked to serve as Social Director and willingly did so for the next two years.  In that capacity, she was responsible for various club social events such as the New Member’s Breakfast, the 4th of July Club Picnic, the Classic Volunteer Appreciation Party, and the annual Christmas Awards Banquet.  For her outstanding efforts and running achievements, she was the Club Rookie of the Year for 2006.

She then served as Club Secretary for three years during the period 2012-2014.  She was presented with the Extra Mile Award in 2013 for her continued contributions to the club.

For the past six years since 2017, Teresa has served as the Ronnie Godwin Scholarship Coordinator.  In that capacity she deals with the Track and Cross-Country Coaches and School Counselors at each of the county high schools to ensure the scholarships are distributed fairly and in accordance with the scholarship requirements and that the funds are disbursed appropriately.  During her tenure, Teresa has administered and overseen the disbursement of over $60,000 in scholarship funds to approximately 120 student-athletes.

Accordingly, in appreciation of her dedicated service to the club and by unanimous acclamation of the Hall of Fame Nominating Committee, Teresa Moore is hereby inducted into the Peachtree City Running Club 2023 Hall of Fame.
